Now Playing...

Check out the week's newest film releases and find out what our staff can't wait to see (or, in some cases, would choose to see if we absolutely had to). Click the posters for more info about each film.

Shelby and Matt want to see...

"My choice for this week is How to Talk to Girls at Parties. A Neil Gaiman short story + teenage punks + cute girl aliens sounds like my sort of movie. There's also a 100% likelihood of me seeing Solo within the next few weeks if for no reason other than to drool over Donald Glover as Lando." - Shelby

"I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman's work, from the comic series Sandman to novels such as Neverwhere and American Gods, so this film (based on his Hugo Award nominated and Locus Award winning 2006 short story of the same name) is a no-brainer for me. It also looks crazy enough to scratch my Scott Pilgrim vs. the World itch, so that's a selling-point, as well." - Matt

Ian is (sort of) excited about...

"Okay, if you don't have Star Wars fatigue at this point, I might not trust you as a human being. Even still, I don't think I can pass up seeing Solo this weekend. What originally seemed like a doomed endeavor (replaced director, rumors of bad casting choices) is now drawing us all back in with glowing reviews (or, at least better than expected) and of course, the release serendipitously coinciding with Donald Glover's current big moment in the spotlight. Glover's the main draw for me here, but let's hope this is the last of the franchise stretching out these original Star Wars characters thin." - Ian

Also opening in theaters this week...
